Jerk chicken is one of the most popular Caribbean dishes and boast a distinctive flavor profile with it's aromatic complex, sweet, smoky and earthy mouthwatering taste
Ingredients:
- Luv's Jamaican style jerk blend
- 20 chicken pieces (leg and thigh)
- 1/4c Olive oil
- Bottle of The Luv Sauce
- Place the chicken in a large bowl; start by drizzling the olive oil on the chicken. Generously sprinkle the jerk blend all over the chicken and underneath the skin chicken. Marinate for at least 2 hours.
- When you are ready to grill the chicken; remove chicken from the bowl and put the remaining marinade (liquid) into a small sauce pan. Once the marinade boils; set aside to use as basting sauce for the jerk chicken.
- Preheat grill to med. Place chicken skin down on the grill grates. Grill for 40 - 50 mins; keeping the internal grill temperature between 350 and 400 F turning the chicken occasionally and basting with marinade , until the chicken is cooked thoroughly.
- Transfer chicken to platter. Tent loosely with foil and let rest for 15 mins.
- Chop the chicken into desired portion.
- Drizzle The Luv Sauce on your jerk and enjoy!
