Luv's Jerk Chicken

Jerk chicken is one of the most popular Caribbean dishes and boast a distinctive flavor profile with it's aromatic complex, sweet, smoky and earthy mouthwatering taste

Ingredients:

  • Luv's Jamaican style jerk blend
  • 20 chicken pieces (leg and thigh)
  • 1/4c Olive oil
  • Bottle of The Luv Sauce
  1. Place the chicken in a large bowl; start by drizzling the olive oil on the chicken. Generously sprinkle the jerk blend all over the chicken and underneath the skin chicken. Marinate for at least 2 hours.
  2. When you are ready to grill the chicken; remove chicken from the bowl and put the remaining marinade (liquid) into a small sauce pan. Once the marinade boils; set aside to use as basting sauce for the jerk chicken. 
  3. Preheat grill to med. Place chicken skin down on the grill grates. Grill for   40 - 50 mins; keeping the internal grill temperature between 350 and 400 F turning the chicken occasionally and basting with marinade , until the chicken is cooked thoroughly.
  4. Transfer chicken to platter. Tent loosely with foil and let rest for 15 mins.
  5. Chop the chicken into desired portion.
  6. Drizzle The Luv Sauce on your jerk and enjoy!
